The Brave Yong Su-Jeong

The Brave Yong Su-Jeong (Korean: 용감무쌍 용수정) is a South Korean television series that aired on MBC from May 6 to November 15, 2024. The drama was broadcast in the Monday to Friday 19:05–19:40 time slot. It follows the life of Yong Su-Jeong, a popular home shopping host, and her intersecting relationships with those around her, including the heir to the Masung Group.

Plot

Yong Su-Jeong (played by Uhm Hyun-Kyung) is a successful home shopping host known for her honest and straightforward personality, which has earned her a dedicated fan base. Despite her professional confidence, she struggles with romantic interactions, finding it difficult to express her feelings or maintain eye contact with men she likes. She harbors a crush on Joo Woo-Jin (Kwon Hwa-Woon), the successor to the Masung Group.

The narrative also follows Yeo Ui-Joo (Seo Jun-Young), a hardworking man dedicated to caring for his intellectually disabled mother. His life takes a turn when he discovers he is the second grandson of the Masung Group. Meanwhile, the character Choi Hye-Ra (Lim Ju-Eun) is depicted as a greedy and selfish antagonist who will stop at nothing to achieve her goals.

The series was directed by Lee Min-Soo and Kim Mi-Sook, with the screenplay written by Choi Yeon-Geol. It consisted of 124 episodes. The show occupied the MBC time slot previously held by The Third Marriage and was followed by Desperate Mrs. Seonju on November 18, 2024. During the 2024 Paris Olympics, the broadcast schedule was adjusted, resulting in the delay of episode 61 from July 29 to August 12, 2024.
