Plot
The narrative centers on an elderly man, played by Jun Sung-hwan, and a young woman, played by Han Yeo-reum, who have lived together on a permanently anchored fishing boat for years. The man has raised the girl since childhood and intends to marry her once she reaches the age of 17. He uses a bow and arrow to protect her from the attention of men who visit the boat from the mainland. The arrival of a student, played by Seo Ji-suk, disrupts their isolated existence and introduces new tensions into their relationship.
