The Black Hand (2015 Film)

The Black Hand (Korean: 검은손; RR: Geomeunson) is a 2015 South Korean horror film directed by Park Jae-Sik. The screenplay was written by Byun Hye-Joo and Park Jae-Sik. The film was released in South Korea on April 16, 2015, and has a runtime of 96 minutes.

Plot

The story follows Jung-Woo (Kim Sung-Su), a neurosurgeon who is also involved in bioengineering research. While married, he maintains an extramarital relationship with a fellow doctor, Yoo-Gyeong (Han Go-Eun). Following a mysterious accident that results in the amputation of her hand, Yoo-Gyeong undergoes a successful reattachment surgery performed by Jung-Woo. Although her physical recovery appears successful, she begins to experience a series of bizarre and unsettling events.
