The Auditors
The Auditors (Korean: 감사합니다) is a South Korean television series that aired on tvN from July 6 to August 11, 2024. The drama, directed by Kwon Young-Il and written by Choi Min-Ho, follows the professional and personal dynamics within the audit department of a major construction firm.
Plot
The series centers on Shin Cha-Il (played by Shin Ha-Kyun), the newly appointed leader of the audit team at JU Construction. Known for his cold demeanor and sharp, decisive judgment, Shin operates in an environment rife with corporate corruption. He is joined by rookie employee Goo Han-Soo (Lee Jung-Ha), who initially views the audit team as a temporary placement before a planned transfer to the company's Florida branch. As they work together, Goo Han-Soo undergoes professional growth under Shin's mentorship.
The corporate power struggle is further complicated by the presence of Hwang Dae-Woong (Jin Goo), the vice president of JU Construction and the founder's third son, who harbors ambitions of becoming the company president. Meanwhile, fellow rookie Yoon Seo-Jin (Jo A-Ram) maintains a professional distance from her colleagues, hiding her personal connection to the vice president.
