The Arrest King
The Arrest King (Korean: 체포왕; RR: Chepyoyang) is a 2011 South Korean police comedy film directed by Lim Chan-Ik. The film explores the professional rivalry between two police officers stationed in the Mapo and Seodaemun districts of Seoul as they compete for a prestigious award.

Plot
The narrative centers on the intense competition between Hwang Jae-Sung (Park Joong-Hoon), a veteran detective from the Mapo police station known for his aggressive, unconventional methods, and Jung Wei-Chan (Lee Sun-Kyun), a highly educated newcomer appointed to the Seodaemun police station. The two officers vie for the title of "Officer of the Year," an honor awarded to the detective who apprehends the most criminals, which includes a cash prize of 30 million won. Their rivalry intensifies due to their differing backgrounds and personal motivations, eventually forcing them to cooperate when a serial rapist case threatens the safety of their districts.
Production
The film was directed by Lim Chan-Ik, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Yoon Soon-Yong and Choi Jin-Won. Principal photography commenced on November 26, 2010, and concluded on February 27, 2011. The film was distributed by Lotte Entertainment and released in South Korea on May 4, 2011.
