The Age of Heroes (Korean: 영웅시대; RR: Yeong-woong-si-dae) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on MBC from July 5, 2004, to March 1, 2005. Spanning 70 episodes, the series was broadcast on Monday and Tuesday nights at 21:55.

Plot

Set in the aftermath of the Korean War, the series dramatizes the lives of two business figures who navigate the challenges of South Korea's rapid industrialization, a period often referred to as the "Miracle of the Han River." The narrative focuses on the contrasting backgrounds of the two protagonists: one character is depicted as the son of a peasant, while the other is portrayed as a talented businessman who left university before graduation.

Production

The series was directed by So Won-Young and Kim Jin-Min, with the screenplay written by Lee Hwan-Kyung. It was produced by the South Korean network MBC.
