That Winter, the Wind Blows (Korean: 그 겨울, 바람이 분다; RR: Geu Gyeowool, Barami Boonda) is a 2013 South Korean television series broadcast by SBS. The drama aired from February 13 to April 3, 2013, in the Wednesday and Thursday 21:55 time slot.

Production

The series was directed by Kim Kyu-tae and written by No Hee-kyung. The production reunited the director, writer, and lead actress Song Hye-kyo, who had previously collaborated on the 2008 KBS2 drama Worlds Within.... Filming for the series commenced in October 2012, with the first script reading held on November 4, 2012, at the SBS Ilsan Production Center in Tanhyun, South Korea.

Adaptation

The drama is based on the 2002 Japanese series Ai nante irane yo, natsu (Forget Love). It is part of a series of adaptations of the original Japanese work, which also includes the 2006 South Korean film Love Me Not.

Broadcast History

The series occupied the Wednesday and Thursday 21:55 time slot on SBS, following the conclusion of The Great Seer. Upon its completion in April 2013, it was succeeded by the drama All About My Romance.
