Terius Behind Me

Terius Behind Me (Korean: 내 뒤에 테리우스; RR: Nae Dwie Teriwooseu) is a South Korean television series that aired on MBC from September 27 to November 15, 2018. The series, which blends elements of espionage and comedy, follows the story of a former secret agent who becomes involved in the life of his neighbor after her husband is caught in a conspiracy.

Plot

Kim Bon (So Ji-Sub) is a legendary National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent who has lived in seclusion for three years following a failed operation that resulted in the death of his lover. His quiet life is interrupted when he meets his neighbor, Go Ae-Rin (Jung In-Sun), a woman who suddenly loses her husband. As Kim Bon helps Go Ae-Rin investigate the circumstances surrounding her husband's death, they uncover a complex conspiracy.

Production

The series was directed by Park Sang-Hoon and Park Sang-Woo, with a screenplay written by Oh Ji-Young. The production team conducted the first script reading in late June 2018 at the MBC Broadcasting Station in Sangam, South Korea. Promotional efforts included the release of teaser posters photographed in Warsaw, Poland. The series occupied the Wednesday and Thursday 22:00 time slot on MBC, succeeding The Time and preceding Children of Nobody.
