Temptation of Wolves (2004 Film)

Temptation of Wolves (Korean: 늑대의 유혹; RR: Neukdaeui Yuhok) is a 2004 South Korean teen romance film directed by Kim Tae-Gyun. The film is based on the popular internet novel of the same name written by Gwiyeoni, which was first published online in 2002 before receiving a print release in 2004.

Plot

The story follows Han-kyung, a young woman from a rural area who moves to the city to live with her mother. Upon her arrival, she finds herself at the center of a romantic conflict involving two of the most popular high school boys in the area, Ban Hae-won and Jung Tae-sung. As the two rivals compete for her affection, a tragic secret regarding Tae-sung's past and his relationship with Han-kyung begins to unfold.

Reception

For his performance in the film, actor Gang Dong-Won received the Best New Actor award at the 24th Korean Association of Film Critics Awards in 2004.
