Plot

The story centers on Detective Cho, played by Han Suk-kyu, who leads a special investigation squad tasked with identifying a killer responsible for leaving dismembered remains in public spaces. The victims are difficult to identify, and the perpetrator displays a high level of surgical precision. Investigators discover traces of a medical antiseptic, Hexamedrin, on the remains, leading them to consider suspects with medical or biological backgrounds.

The investigation eventually focuses on Chae Soo-yeon (Shim Eun-ha), an artist who shares a connection with all the victims. As Detective Cho delves into her past and the disappearance of her father, he finds himself increasingly drawn into the complexities of her life. The case becomes more convoluted as the murders continue, leading to the death of one of Soo-yeon's associates.
