Production
The series was developed as a television adaptation of the Tazza franchise. While it retains core characters from the source material—such as Go-ni, Ah-gwi, and Madame Jeong—the drama features a distinct storyline, incorporating new characters and a different tonal approach compared to the 2006 film adaptation.
