Tarot is a 2024 South Korean horror-mystery film directed by Ashbun and written by Kyeong Min-Sun. The film explores themes of fate and supernatural consequences, structured as an anthology of three distinct stories. Each segment follows a protagonist who encounters a mysterious tarot card, leading them into a series of unsettling and cursed events driven by their own choices.

Plot Structure

The film is composed of three interconnected narratives:

  • Santa’s Visit: Starring Cho Yeo-Jeong as Ji-Woo, a single mother who faces eerie occurrences while her daughter is left alone at home.
  • Please Throw Away: Featuring Kim Jin-Young as Dong-In, a veteran delivery rider who encounters bizarre and threatening situations during his work.
  • Going Home: Starring Ko Kyu-Pil as Kyeong-Rae, a man who finds himself in a state of intense anxiety after hurriedly boarding a taxi in the middle of the night.

Production and Related Media

The project exists in two formats: a theatrical film version and a streaming drama series. While the film version presents three stories, the U+mobiletv drama series version expands the narrative by including four additional stories.
