Takeyoshi Yamamoto

Takeyoshi Yamamoto (Japanese: 山本剛義) is a Japanese television and film director. He is widely recognized for his extensive work directing television dramas for major networks such as TBS, as well as contributing to feature films.

Career

Yamamoto has built a prolific career directing serial television dramas, primarily collaborating with the Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS). His television credits span a wide variety of genres, ranging from suspense and legal dramas to romantic comedies and human stories. Notable television series directed or co-directed by Yamamoto include Nagi's Long Vacation (2019), My Housekeeper Nagisa-san (2020), Ishiko and Haneo: You're Suing Me? (2022), and Ms. Saionji Doesn't Do Housework (2024).
