Tadashii Rock Band no Tsukurikata (Japanese: 正しいロックバンドの作り方) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on NTV in 2020. The series follows the comedic struggles and aspirations of a rock band named Kanashimi no Mukogawa as they work toward their goal of performing at the Dengeki Rock Festival, a major music event in Japan.

Plot

The story centers on the four members of the band Kanashimi no Mukogawa, which was formed six months prior to the start of the series. The group is led by Shizuma Akagawa, who is joined by his bandmates Tetsuma Akagawa, Rokuro Ogino, and Noboru Kobato. Each member brings a distinct personality to the group, ranging from the aimless university student Tetsuma to the mysterious Rokuro and the energetic Noboru. The band's narrative arc is driven by their ambition to succeed in the music industry, often complicated by their eccentric decisions, such as considering a middle-aged man who only plays Hawaiian instruments as a potential new member.
