Tadaaki Horai

Tadaaki Horai (Japanese: 宝来忠昭) is a Japanese director known for his prolific work in television drama and feature film production. His career spans over a decade, during which he has directed numerous series for major Japanese networks, including TV Asahi, Fuji TV, and NTV.

Career

Horai has established a significant presence in the Japanese television industry, frequently collaborating on projects across various genres, ranging from mystery and suspense to romantic comedy. His directorial portfolio includes long-running series such as Kaseifu no Mitazono (Mr. Housekeeper, Mitazono) and the popular culinary-themed drama Kodoku no Gurume (Solitary Gourmet).

In addition to his television work, Horai has directed several feature films, including All of Them Are Troublesome Girls (2019) and Hold On, Baseball Team! (2018). He also contributed to the screenplay for the 2012 film Subete no Onna ni Uso ga Aru.
