Switch (2023 South Korean Film)

Switch is a South Korean comedy-drama film released on January 4, 2023. Directed and written by Ma Dae-yoon, the film explores themes of life choices and personal transformation. The project, which was originally developed under the working title Christmas Sunmool (Christmas Present), began filming on January 17, 2021.

Plot

The story follows Park Gang (Kwon Sang-woo), a highly popular but scandal-prone actor who prides himself on his single lifestyle. His career and daily logistics are managed by Jo Yoon (Oh Jung-se), a man who once aspired to be an actor himself but failed to achieve success. One day, Park Gang wakes up to find his reality fundamentally altered. He is no longer a celebrity, but an ordinary man living a quiet life with his wife, Soo-hyun (Lee Min-jung), and their two children. In this new reality, the roles are reversed, and Jo Yoon has become the top-tier actor.
