Sweet My Home (2023 Film)

Sweet My Home is a Japanese horror-mystery film released on September 1, 2023. Directed by Takumi Saito, the film is an adaptation of the 2019 novel of the same name written by Rinko Kamizu.

Plot

The story follows Kenji Kiyosawa, a sports instructor living in Nagano. Driven by a desire to provide a comfortable living environment for his wife and children, who are sensitive to cold, Kenji becomes captivated by a model house known as Mahou no Ie. This home is marketed for its ability to maintain a warm interior temperature using only a single air conditioning unit. After deciding to build a similar house for his family, the project is completed, and the family moves in. However, their initial excitement is soon overshadowed by a series of unsettling and bizarre incidents within the new home.
