Film Career
Suzu Hirose has starred in numerous feature films spanning various genres. Her early film appearances include roles in The Apology King (2013) and Crows Explode (2014). She gained wider recognition for her role as Suzu Asano, the youngest stepsister, in Hirokazu Kore-eda's Our Little Sister (2015), which earned her the Rookie of the Year award at the 39th Japan Academy Prize in 2016.
Throughout her career, she has taken on leading roles in major manga adaptations and dramatic features, such as the Chihayafuru trilogy (2016–2018) as Chihaya Ayase, Rage (2016), Your Lie in April (2016), The Third Murder (2017), Sunny: Our Hearts Beat Together (2018), Last Letter (2020), Wandering (2022), and Kyrie (2023).
