Sung Ian: Biography and Career Overview

Sung Ian (also known by the birth name Sung Yi-Un) is a South Korean actor born on July 6, 1994. Standing at 182 cm, he has built a career in both film and television dramas in South Korea.

Film Career

Sung Ian began appearing in feature films in the early 2010s. His early film credits include supporting roles in notable South Korean cinematic releases such as the crime drama Nameless Gangster: Rules of The Time (2012) and the disaster thriller The Flu (2013).

Television Appearances

In addition to his film work, Sung has transitioned into television series, taking on various supporting and guest roles. His television credits feature appearances in the tvN series The K2 (2016), the political drama series Chief of Staff (2019) and its second season (2019) as a reporter, and the JTBC legal television series Diary of a Prosecutor (2019–2020) where he portrayed the character Kim Jang-Shin. He was also cast in the MBC series Family Register (2026) as Im Ji-Hoo.
