Suits (2018 South Korean TV series)
Suits is a South Korean television drama series that aired on KBS2 in 2018. The series is a remake of the American legal drama of the same name, which originally premiered on the USA Network in 2011. The Korean adaptation consists of 16 episodes and was broadcast from April 25 to June 14, 2018, in the Wednesday and Thursday 22:00 time slot.
Plot
The story follows Choi Kang-seok, a highly successful and prestigious lawyer at the Kang & Ham Law Firm who is promoted to senior partner. He encounters Go Yeon-woo, a young man with a photographic memory and exceptional comprehension skills. Despite his intellectual gifts, Go Yeon-woo works as a parking valet to support his grandmother. After being coerced into a dangerous situation involving drug delivery, he accidentally stumbles into an interview for a rookie lawyer position at Choi Kang-seok's firm. Impressed by his intelligence, Choi Kang-seok hires him despite the fact that Go Yeon-woo lacks a law license, a decision that puts both of their careers at risk.
Production
The series was directed by Kim Jin-woo and Kwon Young-il, with a screenplay written by Kim Jung-min. It replaced Queen of Mystery 2 in its time slot and was followed by Your House Helper in July 2018.
