Sseol (2021 Film)

Sseol (Korean: 썰) is a South Korean dark comedy film released on June 3, 2021. The film was directed by Hwang Song-Jae and written by Choi Tan-Ok. It features a runtime of 84 minutes.

Plot

The story follows Jung-Seok (played by Kang Chan-Hee), a young man who takes a part-time job caring for an elderly, bedridden man known as Chairman Choi (Jang Gwang). Jung-Seok's daily routine involves menial tasks such as administering medication and assisting with personal care. He spends much of his time with a talkative co-worker named Yibbal (Kim Gang-Hyun).

The narrative shifts when Yibbal invites Se-Na (Kim So-Ra), a woman known for her reputation, to the chairman's residence. As the three individuals consume alcohol together, the situation escalates when Chairman Choi unexpectedly regains consciousness and attacks Yibbal. During the ensuing struggle, the chairman passes away, leading to a series of chaotic events.
