Springtime (2004 Film)
Springtime (Korean: 꽃피는 봄이 오면; RR: Ggotpineun bomi omyeon) is a 2004 South Korean drama film directed by Ryu Jang-ha. The film explores themes of personal redemption and the transformative power of music through the story of a disillusioned musician who relocates to a remote mining town.

Plot
Hyun-woo is a professional trumpeter whose career and personal life have stalled. Seeking an escape from his stagnant reality, he accepts a position as a music teacher at a junior high school in Dogye, a remote village. Upon arrival, he discovers a struggling wind ensemble composed of students with limited resources and aging equipment. As he works with the students to improve their skills, Hyun-woo begins to confront his own past and finds a renewed sense of purpose.
