Sorry and Thank You (2011 Film)

Sorry and Thank You (Korean: 미안해, 고마워; RR: Miahnhae, Gomawo) is a 2011 South Korean anthology film. The project consists of four distinct short stories, each directed by a different filmmaker, that explore the emotional connections between humans and animals.

Sorry and Thank You

Directed by Song Il-Gon, this segment follows Soo-Young (Kim Ji-Ho), a woman facing financial ruin who considers selling her home against her father's wishes. Following her father's death, she inherits his dog, So-Chul-Yi, which helps her navigate her grief and gain a new perspective on her life.

Joo Joo

Directed by Oh Jeon-Kyun, this story focuses on Young-Jin (Kim Young-Min), a homeless man who forms a profound bond with an abandoned dog named Joo Joo.

My Little Sister

Directed by Park Heung-Sik, this segment centers on a young girl named Bo-Eun who treats her puppy, Bo-Ri, as a sibling. The narrative explores her emotional struggle when she must adjust to the arrival of a new human sibling.

Cat Kiss

Directed by Yim Soonrye, this story depicts the relationship between Hye-Won (Choi Jung-In) and her father (Jeon Kuk-Hwan). Their strained relationship begins to mend through their shared efforts in caring for stray cats.
