Son Ji-Yoon (South Korean Actress)

Son Ji-Yoon (Hangul: 손지윤) is a South Korean actress born on February 18, 1983. Active in both film and television, she has built a diverse acting portfolio featuring supporting and recurring roles in various television series and motion pictures.

Acting Career

Son began appearing in notable film and television projects during the late 2010s and 2020s. Her early film credits include small appearances such as a theater audience member in Method (2017) and a palace court lady in The Princess and the Matchmaker (2018), followed by a role as Sun Ji-Young in Double Patty (2021).

In television, she has taken on a variety of supporting characters across major networks and streaming platforms. Some of her prominent television drama credits include Stranger 2 (2020) as assisting officer Bae Jae-Yeon, Missing: The Other Side (2020), and The First Responders (2022–2023) alongside its second season, where she portrayed forensic character Yoon Hong.

Awards and Recognition

In 2023, Son received critical recognition for her performance in the second season of the SBS television series The First Responders, winning the Best Supporting Actress award at the SBS Drama Awards ceremony held on December 29, 2023.
