Someday When I Think of This Love I Will Surely Cry (Japanese: いつかこの恋を思い出してきっと泣いてしまう) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on Fuji TV from January 18 to March 21, 2016. The series consists of 10 episodes and was broadcast during the network's Monday 21:00 time slot.

Plot

The story follows the lives of young individuals who migrate to Tokyo, navigating the challenges of urban life while pursuing their dreams and relationships. The narrative centers on Oto Sugihara, played by Kasumi Arimura, who was raised by foster parents in a rural Hokkaido village following the death of her mother. Despite pressure to enter an arranged marriage with an older man, she maintains a diligent work ethic. Ren Soda, portrayed by Kengo Kora, is a young man from Fukushima who moves to Tokyo to work for a moving company, driven by the goal of reclaiming his grandfather's land. Their paths cross when Ren discovers a letter belonging to Oto and travels to Hokkaido to return it, eventually offering her a ride to Tokyo.
