Siren (Korean: 싸이렌; RR: Ssairen) is a South Korean action-drama film released on October 28, 2000. Directed by Joo Yeob Lee, the film explores the contrasting philosophies and personal lives of two firefighters working in the same station.

Plot

The narrative centers on the conflict between two colleagues: Joon-woo, a firefighter known for his impulsive and daring approach to rescue missions, and Hyun, who prioritizes rational judgment and safety protocols. Their professional friction begins on their first day together, when Joon-woo ignores an evacuation order to save civilians from a burning building, while Hyun attempts to restrain him. Amidst this workplace tension, the story also follows Ye-rin, who shares a deep personal connection with Joon-woo.
