Shut Up Flower Boy Band

Shut Up Flower Boy Band (Korean: 닥치고 꽃미남밴드; RR: Dagchigo Kkochminambaendeu) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the cable network tvN from January 30 to March 20, 2012. Directed by Lee Kwon and written by Seo Yoon-Hee, the series consists of 16 episodes and was broadcast on Monday and Tuesday nights.

The series is recognized as the second installment in tvN's Flower Boy drama franchise. While the series shares a thematic focus on "flower boy" archetypes, the storylines and characters are independent of other entries in the franchise, such as Cool Guys, Hot Ramen (2011) and Flower Boys Next Door (2013).

Premise

The narrative centers on a high school rock band known as "Eye Purification." The group consists of members Byung-Hee (Lee Min-Ki), Kwon Ji-Hyuk (Sung Joon), Lee Hyun-Soo (Kim Myung-Soo), Jang Do-Il (Lee Hyun-Jae), Kim Ha-Jin (Yoo Min-Kyu), and Seo Kyung-Jong (Kim Min-Suk). The band members attend Dong-Nae High School, an institution slated for closure due to redevelopment. Following the school's closure, the members are forced to transfer to the prestigious Jung-Sang High School, where they encounter a starkly different social environment.
