Shunya Shiraishi

Shunya Shiraishi (白石 隼也) is a Japanese actor born on August 3, 1990, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Standing at 1.75 meters with blood type O, he has built a diverse career across Japanese television dramas and feature films since his debut in the late 2000s.

Acting Career

Shiraishi has appeared in numerous high-profile film and television productions. One of his most notable starring roles is Haruto Souma in the tokusatsu series Kamen Rider Wizard (2012–2013), as well as associated franchise films such as Kamen Rider × Super Sentai × Space Sheriff: Super Hero Taisen Z (2013). In addition to tokusatsu, he has taken on diverse supporting and lead roles in manga adaptations and drama series.

His film credits include playing Nishiki Nishio in the live-action adaptations of Tokyo Ghoul (2017) and Tokyo Ghoul 'S' (2019), Akira Miyamoto in Higanjima Deluxe (2016), and roles in Gantz (2011) and Strayer's Chronicle (2015). On television, he has appeared in NHK taiga dramas such as Sanadamaru (2016) as Shigenari Kimura, the streaming adaptation Good Morning Call (2016) as Hisashi Uehara, and ongoing television productions extending into the 2020s.
