Shoot Me in the Heart (2015 Film)
Shoot Me in the Heart (Korean: 내 심장을 쏴라; RR: Nae Simjangeul Sswara) is a 2015 South Korean drama film directed by Mun Che-Yong. The film is based on the 2009 novel of the same name by author Jung Yoo-Jung.

Plot
The story centers on two men who meet within the confines of a psychiatric hospital. Soo-Myung, played by Yeo Jin-Goo, is a patient struggling with schizophrenia and deep-seated guilt following his mother's suicide. He encounters Seung-Min, portrayed by Lee Min-Ki, a man who has been forcibly committed due to a dispute over his family's inheritance. As Seung-Min persistently plans his escape from the facility, Soo-Myung finds himself drawn into his companion's journey.
Production
The film was adapted from the novel Nae Simjangeul Sswara, published on May 27, 2009, by EunHaeng NaMu Publishing. The author, Jung Yoo-Jung, makes a cameo appearance in the film as a psychiatrist. Principal photography commenced on May 1, 2014, with the first scene featuring the meeting of the two protagonists in ward 501. Filming concluded on July 27, 2014, in Jeonju, South Korea, with the final scene depicting Soo-Myung walking on a road outside the hospital.
