Shizuyo Yamazaki: Japanese Comedian and Actress
Shizuyo Yamazaki (Japanese: 山崎静代), widely known by her nickname Shizu-chan (しずちゃん), is a Japanese comedian and actress born on February 4, 1979, in Fukuchiyama, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. Standing 180 cm tall with blood type A, she graduated from Seiwa College.
Comedy Career
Shizuyo Yamazaki is well known as a member of the comedy duo Nankai Candies, performing alongside her partner Ryota Yamasato.
Acting Career
In addition to her work in comedy, Yamazaki has built an extensive career in Japanese films and television dramas. She received the Rookie of the Year award at the 30th Japan Academy Prize ceremony on February 16, 2007, for her performance in the film Hula Girls (2006).
