Shinnosuke Mitsushima

Shinnosuke Mitsushima (born May 30, 1989) is a Japanese actor born in Okinawa, Japan. He is the younger brother of actress Hikari Mitsushima.

Career

Mitsushima has appeared in a wide range of Japanese cinema and television productions. He gained recognition for his role as Masakatsu Morita in the 2012 film 11.25 The Day He Chose His Own Fate, which earned him the Best New Artist award at the 37th Hochi Film Awards that same year.

In the following years, he became a familiar face in both film and television. His filmography includes the Kingdom series, where he portrays the character Heki, as well as roles in The Third Murder (2017), Blade of the Immortal (2017), and Before We Vanish (2017). On television, he is known for his work in series such as The Naked Director (2019–2021) on Netflix, Reach Beyond the Blue Sky (2021), and Hayabusa Fire Brigade (2023).
