Shin Takuma

Shin Takuma (born April 18, 1956) is a Japanese actor born in Tamano, Okayama, Japan. Throughout his career, he has appeared in numerous film and television productions, spanning genres from science fiction to crime drama.

Filmography

Takuma has been active in the Japanese film industry since the early 1980s. His filmography includes notable appearances in the Godzilla franchise, specifically Godzilla (1984) as Hiroshi Okumura and Godzilla Against MechaGodzilla (2002) as Tokumitsu Yuhara. Other significant film credits include To Trap a Kidnapper (1982), Four Days of Snow and Blood (1989), and Survival Family (2017).

Television Career

In addition to his film work, Takuma has maintained a consistent presence in Japanese television dramas. He is well-known for his role as Danjo in the The Brave Yoshihiko series, which began in 2011. His television credits also include roles in Assistant Inspector Daimajin (2023), Black Swan Lake (2021), and various appearances in long-running crime and mystery series.
