Shin Sung-Il is Lost (Korean: 신성일의 행방불명) is a 2006 South Korean film directed and written by Jane Shin. The film premiered at the Pusan International Film Festival in October 2004 before its general release in South Korea on February 16, 2006.

Plot
The story is set within an isolated orphanage known as the 'House of Angels'. The institution's director enforces a strict doctrine, teaching the children that the act of eating is shameful. Shin Sung-Il, one of the residents, is portrayed as a dedicated student who attempts to adhere to these teachings despite his physical struggle with hunger. As the children begin to question the director's motives, they organize an uprising. During the chaos, Shin Sung-Il manages to escape the facility. Upon entering the outside world, he encounters a society where eating is a normal, public activity, leading to a profound internal conflict regarding his upbringing and his physical needs.
