Shin Hirano, also known professionally as Makoto Hirano (Japanese: 平野眞), is a Japanese television drama and film director. Born on December 4, 1965, in Japan, Hirano has built an extensive career primarily collaborating with Fuji Television, directing numerous prominent drama series and television movies over several decades.
