Serendipity's Embrace
Serendipity's Embrace (Korean: 우연일까?; RR: Wooyeonilgga?) is a South Korean television series that aired in 2024. The drama is based on the webcomic of the same name, written by Nam Ji-Eun and illustrated by Kim In-Ho, which was serialized on Naver from April 8 to December 2, 2011.
Production and Broadcast
The series was directed by Song Hyun-Wook with a screenplay by Park Geu-Ro. It was broadcast on the network tvN, occupying the Monday and Tuesday 20:50 time slot. The series premiered on July 22, 2024, and concluded its eight-episode run on August 13, 2024. It followed the conclusion of The Player 2: Master of Swindlers and was succeeded by No Gain No Love.
Plot
The story follows Lee Hong-Ju, an animation production PD who has remained skeptical of romantic relationships following a difficult breakup during her high school years. Ten years later, she encounters Kang Hu-Young, a financial planner who witnessed her past experiences. As they reconnect, they navigate the complexities of fate and lingering emotions.
