Early Life and Career Beginnings

Born in South Korea on January 3, 1996, Seol entered the entertainment industry with early television appearances, securing minor roles such as a cameo in the 2015 KBS2 series The Producers and a supporting part as Court Lady Han in the 2016 MBC drama The Flower in Prison.

Television and Film Career

Seol gained wider recognition through supporting and lead roles across various networks. Her television credits include Strong Girl Bong-Soon (2017), School 2017 (2017), and her first leading role in the KBS1 daily drama Sunny Again Tomorrow (2018), for which she won Best New Actress at the 2018 KBS Drama Awards.

Subsequent television roles include Special Labor Inspector Mr. Jo (2019), Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life (2019–2020), Record of Youth (2020), and Mr. Queen (2020–2021). She achieved broader international recognition for her portrayal of Jin Young-seo in the 2022 SBS romantic comedy series Business Proposal.
