Seo Kang-Joon

Seo Kang-Joon (born Lee Seung-Hwan on October 12, 1993) is a prominent South Korean actor and singer. He stands 183 cm tall, has blood type AB, and is widely recognized for his work in television dramas and film.

Early Life and Career Beginnings

Born in South Korea as Lee Seung-Hwan, he later adopted the stage name Seo Kang-Joon. He became a member of 5urprise, a South Korean actor-group formed by talent agency Fantagio that ventured into both acting and music.

Military Service

Seo Kang-Joon enlisted for his mandatory South Korean military service on November 23, 2021. Following the completion of his service, he was officially discharged on May 22, 2023.

Acting Career

Seo began his acting career with minor roles before landing significant television and film projects. He appeared in various drama series including Cheese in the Trap (2016), Entourage (2016), Are You Human? (2018), When the Weather is Fine (2020), and Grid (2022). His film credits include My Love, My Bride (2014), The Beauty Inside (2015), and A Year-End Medley (2021).

Awards and Accolades

Throughout his career, Seo has received multiple recognition awards for his acting performances, including the Hot Star Award at the 2015 Korea Drama Awards for his role in Hwajung, and Excellent Actor and Best Couple awards at the 2018 KBS Drama Awards for Are You Human?.
