Seo Do-Young (Hangul: 서도영) is a South Korean actor known for his television drama roles. Born on April 14, 1981, in South Korea, he stands at 187 cm tall. He has maintained a prominent presence in Korean broadcasting since the mid-2000s, appearing in various network and cable television series.

Acting Career and Notable Television Roles

Seo began his television career in the early 2000s. One of his early notable appearances was in the historical drama series Emperor of the Sea, broadcast on KBS from 2004 to 2005. In 2006, he gained wider recognition by starring as Yun Jae-Ha / Lee Soo-Ho in the KBS2 romance drama Spring Waltz.

Over the following decades, Seo built a diverse filmography across multiple South Korean broadcasting networks, including KBS, MBC, SBS, and JTBC. His television credits include roles in Friend, Our Legend (2009), The Thorn Birds (2011), My One And Only (2011–2012), Flower of Revenge (2013), and Beautiful You (2015–2016).

In subsequent years, he continued to take on regular roles in daily and weekend dramas. He appeared in Backflow (2017–2018), Kangnam Scandal (2018–2019), and Want a Taste? (2019–2020). His recent broadcast projects include roles in The Haunted Palace (2025) and Family Register (2026).

At the 2019 SBS Drama Awards held on December 31, 2019, Seo Do-Young received the award for Excellent Actor for his performances in the television series Kangnam Scandal and Want a Taste?.
