Seinaru Kaibutsutachi (Japanese: 聖なる怪物たち), known in English as The Holy Monsters, is a Japanese television drama series that aired on TV Asahi from January 19 to March 8, 2012. The series consists of eight episodes and explores themes of ambition, medical ethics, and moral corruption within a hospital setting.

The drama is based on the medical mystery novel of the same name written by Len Kawahara, which was published by Gentosha on May 10, 2011. The television adaptation was directed by Meiji Fujita, Masayuki Ochiai, and Jota Tsunehiro, with a screenplay written by Shuko Arai and Naoya Takayama.
Plot Summary
The story centers on Kengo Shiba, a skilled surgeon whose commitment to righteousness leads to his transfer to Okubo Hospital, a facility struggling with financial instability. The hospital is managed by Shiro Okubo, a director who prioritizes patient care over profitability. Upon his arrival, Kengo begins working alongside Yuka Kasugai, a head nurse. The narrative takes a dark turn when Kengo is coerced into performing an emergency Caesarean section on a woman who is not a registered patient, an event that reveals a deeper, orchestrated conspiracy involving the hospital staff and external interests.
