Secret Boutique (South Korean TV Series)

Secret Boutique (Korean: 시크릿 부티크; RR: Sikeurit Bootikeu) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on SBS from September 18 to November 28, 2019. The series was directed by Park Hyung-Ki and written by Heo Sun-Hee.

Plot

The series follows the life of Jenny Jang (played by Kim Sun-A), who rises from a background of poverty working in a Gangnam bathhouse to becoming a successful business owner and influential lobbyist. After securing a position as a housemaid for a conglomerate family, she navigates complex power dynamics and eventually operates J Boutique, becoming deeply involved in a high-stakes international city development project.

Production and Broadcast

Secret Boutique was broadcast on SBS in the Wednesday and Thursday 22:00 time slot. During its run, the broadcast schedule was subject to several preemptions due to the airing of professional baseball games, including the KBO League post-season and the WBSC Premier 12 tournament. Specifically, episodes 8, 9, and 12 were delayed to accommodate these sports broadcasts.
