Plot Synopsis
The story is set in the small town of Wolchoori, which faces social upheaval after being designated as a submerged area for a dam project. Residents are promised compensation, but the town becomes the target of a manipulative religious leader. Kim Min-cheol, a former judo athlete with a history of incarceration, returns to his hometown and becomes suspicious of the newcomers who appear to be exploiting the residents' vulnerability. Meanwhile, his sister, Kim Young-sun, finds herself drawn into the influence of a pastor named Sung Cheol-woo.
