Sassy Go Go

Sassy Go Go (Korean: 발칙하게 고고; RR: Balchikhage Gogo) is a South Korean television series that aired on KBS2 from October 5 to November 10, 2015. The drama, directed by Lee Eun-jin and written by Yoon Soo-jung and Jung Chan-mi, explores the lives of students navigating the competitive environment of a prestigious high school through the formation of a cheerleading club.

Production

The series was originally developed under the working title Jigeumbooteo, Chieoeob (From Now On, Cheer Up). The production team initially offered the lead female role to actress Kim You-jung, who declined the offer. The show occupied the Monday and Tuesday 21:55 time slot on KBS2, succeeding The Virtual Bride and preceding Oh My Venus.

Awards

Chae Soo-bin received recognition for her performance in the series, winning the Best New Actress award at both the 4th APAN Star Awards and the 2015 KBS Drama Awards.
