Plot

The story follows Na-Young, an assistant administrator working for multicultural families at the YWCA. Her professional life intersects with her personal life when she encounters Su-Ji, a woman from the Philippines who reveals she is a victim of domestic abuse by her Korean husband. Na-Young seeks assistance from her colleagues, leading her to collaborate with a male volunteer named Hye-Sung.

As Na-Young and Hye-Sung work together to counsel the couple, they begin to develop a romantic relationship. The progression of their bond leads Na-Young to introduce Hye-Sung to her parents. However, the meeting is unsuccessful, as her parents express opposition to the relationship, resulting in the couple's decision to separate. Concurrently, the narrative follows the escalating conflict involving Su-Ji, who eventually acts in self-defense against her husband.
