Sara Minami

Sara Minami (born June 11, 2002) is a Japanese actress and model. Born in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, she began her career in the entertainment industry and has appeared in various film and television productions.

Career

Minami gained recognition for her lead role in the 2018 film Shino Can't Say Her Own Name. Her filmography includes roles in Dear Etranger (2017), Iwane: Sword of Serenity (2019), and Momi's House (2020). She also appeared in the 2021 film The Sun Does Not Move and the Netflix production Ride or Die. In 2022, she starred in To Be Killed by a High School Girl and The Good Father.

On television, Minami has appeared in several notable series. She played Nao Hayase in the second season of Dragon Sakura (2021) and portrayed Ohime in the NHK historical drama The 13 Lords of the Shogun (2022). In 2023, she starred as Sawako Kuronuma in the Netflix adaptation of From Me to You: Kimi ni Todoke and appeared in Themis's Law School Classroom. Her 2024 work includes the series Nevertheless: The Shapes of Love.
