Salamander Guru and The Shadow Operation Team
Salamander Guru and The Shadow Operation Team (Korean: 도롱뇽 도사와 그림자 조작단) is a South Korean television series that aired on SBS in 2012. The comedy drama consists of 10 episodes and was broadcast on Friday nights.

Plot
The story follows two swindlers, Sun-Dal (played by Oh Dal-su) and Won-Sam (played by Lim Won-hee). With the assistance of an elite computer hacker named Min-Hyuk (played by Minho), the two men orchestrate a scheme to pose as a renowned psychic known as the "Salamander Guru" and his assistant. Their deception is complicated by the fact that the real Salamander Guru, Bum-Gyu (played by Lee Byung-joon), is suffering from Alzheimer's disease.



Production
The series was directed by Park Seung-min and written by Seo Eun-jung. Filming for the production began on January 3, 2012, at a hospital in Ilsan, South Korea. The first scene recorded featured the character Bum-Gyu receiving his diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease.



Guest Appearances
The series featured several cameo appearances by notable K-pop idols. In episode 3, Tae-yeon of Girls' Generation appeared as a character who falls in love with Min-Hyuk. The same episode featured appearances by Yong Joon-hyung of Beast and Kim Myung-soo (L) of Infinite, who portrayed former associates of Min-Hyuk from his days in a burglary ring.
