Sakuranbo no Koi
Sakuranbo no Koi (Japanese: サクらんぼの恋) is a 2018 Japanese film directed by Tomoyuki Furumaya. The screenplay was written by Tomoyuki Furumaya and Yosuke Masaike. The film, which has a runtime of 117 minutes, was distributed by Katsu-do and released in Japan on October 27, 2018.
Plot
The story follows Norio Yamakawa, a 45-year-old employee at a family restaurant who struggles with social integration. A devoted fan of adult video actress Rio Onda, Norio's life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters her in person.
Production and Release
The film held its world premiere on April 21, 2018, at the 10th Okinawa International Movie Festival, where it was featured in the "TV Director's Movie" section. The film's theme song, "Baby Good Sleep," is performed by the Japanese rock duo Sukima Switch.
