Sad Movie (Korean: 새드무비; RR: Saedu Mubi) is a 2005 South Korean melodrama directed by Kwon Jong-Kwan. The film is structured as an anthology, following the interconnected lives of eight individuals as they navigate various forms of separation and emotional transition.

Plot
The narrative explores the lives of several characters facing significant turning points in their relationships. A firefighter, played by Jung Woo-Sung, struggles to find the right moment to propose to his partner, portrayed by Lim Soo-Jung, whose anxiety is triggered by the sound of sirens. Meanwhile, a character named Ha-Suk (Cha Tae-Hyun) establishes a service dedicated to helping others navigate the process of breaking up, while his own partner, Suk-Hyun (Son Tae-Young), contemplates ending their relationship. Other storylines include a mother, Joo-Young (Yum Jung-Ah), who realizes the limited time she has with her son, and a young woman named Soo-Eun (Shin Min-A), who deals with the challenges of a hearing impairment and a facial burn while experiencing her first romance.

Sad Movie was released in South Korea on October 20, 2005. During its opening weekend (October 21–23, 2005), the film reached the number one spot at the South Korean box office, selling 399,823 tickets across 285 screens. Over the course of its domestic theatrical run, the film sold a total of 922,959 tickets and grossed 5,628,004,500 South Korean Won.
