Ryuuji Harada

Ryuuji Harada (原田龍二) is a Japanese actor born on October 26, 1970, in Adachi-ku, Tokyo, Japan. He attended Seigakuin University and has built an extensive career appearing in various film, television drama series, and television movies.

Acting Career

Harada has maintained an active presence in Japanese media since the 1990s, taking on diverse roles across cinematic features and episodic television. One of his most notable recurring television roles is Kohei Jinkawa in the long-running TV Asahi detective series Aibou, appearing across multiple seasons including Season 3, Seasons 6 through 11, and Seasons 14 through 23, as well as several theatrical film adaptations such as Aibou: The Movie (2008), Aibou: The Movie II (2010), and Aibou: X-Day (2013).

In addition to the Aibou franchise, his film credits include Kikaida Reboot (2014) as Hanpei Hattori, Werewolf Warrior (2004) and Kibakichi 2 (2004) in the title role of Kibakichi, The Firefly (2001), and Crossfire (2000). His television drama and movie portfolio features appearances in Kanzo wo Ubawareta Tsuma (2024), My Home Hero (2023), Angel's Knife (2015), and Shadow Warrior Tokugawa Ieyasu (2014), among numerous other broadcast projects.
