Ryuhei Matsuda
Ryuhei Matsuda (born May 9, 1983) is a prominent Japanese actor. Born in Tokyo, he comes from a distinguished artistic family; he is the son of the renowned late actor Yusaku Matsuda and actress Miyuki Matsuda, and the brother of actor Shota Matsuda.

Early Life and Career Beginnings
Matsuda initially had no intentions of entering the entertainment industry. However, at the age of fifteen, he was approached by acclaimed director Nagisa Oshima, who cast him in the 1999 samurai drama film Taboo (Gohatto). His performance as the enigmatic samurai Sozaburo Kano earned widespread acclaim, including the Best Newcomer award at the Blue Ribbon Awards, and inspired him to pursue acting professionally.

Following his breakout debut, Matsuda established a prolific career spanning both film and television. Some of his notable cinematic appearances include roles in Blue Spring (2001), Nana (2005), The Great Passage (2013), and Before We Vanish (2017). His performance in The Great Passage earned him the Best Actor award at the 38th Hochi Film Awards in 2013.
