Ryu Seung-ryong

Ryu Seung-ryong (born 1970) is a South Korean actor known for his extensive work in both film and television. Throughout his career, he has portrayed a wide range of characters, transitioning between dramatic and comedic roles.

Career Highlights

Ryu gained significant recognition for his performance in the 2013 film Miracle in Cell No. 7, for which he received the Best Actor award at the 50th Daejong Film Awards. His filmography includes a variety of notable projects, such as War of the Arrows (2011), Masquerade (2012), and the commercially successful Extreme Job (2019), where he played the lead role of Squad Chief Go.

In television, Ryu has appeared in several high-profile series. He is recognized for his role as Jo Hak-joo in the Netflix series Kingdom (2019–2020) and for his portrayal of Jang Ju-won in the Disney+ series Moving (2023).
